Darlington Nuclear Generating Station Metering Refurbishment
In 2024, Alectra Energy Solution’s Metering team successfully completed a critical metering refurbishment project at Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, to extend the facility’s operational life.
As part of the initiative, the AES team upgraded the first eight metering installations by replacing power meters, instrument transformers, and wiring. This comprehensive project included detailed design, procurement, commissioning, and thorough testing and documentation.
This achievement highlights AES' ongoing commitment to enhancing the reliability and longevity of Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, reinforcing our dedication to delivering innovative and dependable solutions for critical infrastructure.
